📷 170 years to the oldest Park of Kuban

Hello, my dearest friends! The city Park is a favorite place of rest for many Krasnodar citizens and guests of the Kuban capital. Every year there are bright and memorable cultural events, every year the Park is transformed and landscaped.

Now it is even difficult to believe that this place 170 years ago was just a dense forest. Since 1848, a nursery of garden plants was opened here on the instructions of count Vorontsov. Then the Crimea and came famous at the time, the researcher of flora and fauna Jacob Bielmeier.

In just 6 years, he turned several hectares of land into a real center for the development of horticulture. Thanks to him, we still see such a variety of plants in the Park. Unfortunately, many of the buildings of those times were destroyed, but some still delight the citizens.

These include this snow-white rotunda "Cossack hill", which survived the years of occupation of the fascist invaders.

Now here you can often find newlyweds who are happy to do a photo shoot on this picturesque background.

On October 20, the Park celebrated its 170th anniversary and many residents of the city came to celebrate this significant event.

Everywhere there were concerts, artists sang and danced, many recalled the arrival of Theodore Chaliapin.

It is often held dance programs for people of different age groups. Here and today many children's Amateur collectives acted.

In honor of this event for teenagers and preschool children organized various sports games, quests and exciting competitions.
