At our visit to Kissena Park, we saw groups of turtles huddling together on rocks and logs in the middle of the lake to soak up the sun.
Believe it or not, turtles date back to the times of dinosaurs! However sadly, many species of turtles are extinct. Also, contrary to belief... turtles cannot come out of their shell. Turtle shells grow with the turtle!
