Travelling or spending times roaming around is always a best choice you can have as one can feel refresh, soothing and good in and out while i spend most of the time valuing it and having a worthy visit in either weather condition.
While foggy weather is fascinating as i am in love with winter season and the cold mild climate makes me feel fresh..
As we cannot have a view of fogg normally and forever having a short little visit around the places for certain period of time is always worth it.

I think I know what you mean, although I don't generally like a cold climate.
I prefer when it's cold and damp like in Scotland, after it rained a lot, when the air is clear/purified and smells wonderful, but I don't like a dry coldness like in Canda, which can be very unpleasant and stinging.
