Hurricane Ike hit Bolivar, Galveston, and Houston Texas in 2008. September, as a matter of fact. If you're living on the coast... get out. Ike was cat 3/4 when it hit.

Wow, thats insane! If I lived right on the coast id be long gone, but we are 30 miles inland and not close to any rivers where surges could be an issue so hopefully everything will be ok. 😥
