A yellow rose greets the first day of winter!
This is my back porch mini rose.

Steam rising off of a warm wooden fence.

I love this phenomenon.
It happens after our fence gets soaked down by rain the night before.
The next day when the sun first hits it, the fence is warm and the air is cold and produces this neat effect.

Of course a video would be better, but hopefully you get the idea!

Beautiful! I miss my mother’s rose garden, tea roses are my favorite.

It is interesting that you have such warm winters. We have a heavy snow for the second day and emergency services are not able to clean roads. Excellent photos are especially clearly visible over the fence of the pairs.

Yes, we have many warm days in the winter, but it will be much colder in just a few days and January will be quite cold. We might even get snow! I’m sure you get tired of snow where you live!

Oh that steam...
You are sure there is no monster breathing behind that fence? :P

Haha @ewkaw maybe I should have checked!! 😂

Better not... what if there is :p

Wow.! Yellow rose great. Beautiful natural photos. Thanks for sharing such a good post
