Mandalay Region in Myanmar.
A visit up Mandalay Hill is a must for anyone travelling to Mandalay. The best time to go is for sunset when it is least hot and when you can experience the red setting sun glinting in the mirror pieces of the glass-palace style wall and column of the pagoda on top.
