Honeysuckle Berries

in nature •  6 years ago

I found honeysuckle berries in two different locations last summer. This first set of three photos were found along side of a road next to a parking lot.

Honeysuckle flowers begin to bloom in the spring and when the flowers are gone, the berries appear. These pretty red berries will be found in pairs along the stem.

The next three photos were the ones that I found under a tree in a field.

Birds can eat these berries without any problems. When humans eat them, it causes vomiting and diarrhea. Look, don't touch.

Thanks for stopping by and stay tuned for more berries in my next post.

Nice photos! These berries have very bright red color. I like that there are plenty of them on the trees.... I also like the flower. Its color is very lovely. ;)

I love the bright red color of these berries too. That flower is a tiny weed but I am glad to hear that you liked it. : ) Thanks again for your kind words sis! : )
