Hi friends.This is Geum coccineum flower.It is commonly referred to as the scarlet avens or bloody cranesbill is a member of the Rosaceae family.Native to the mountainous regions of Europe,this herbaceous perennial has found its way into gardens around the world due to its breathtaking appearance.The plant features a basal rosette of deeply lobed,hairy leaves with a height ranging from 12 to 24 inches.Its erect stems rise above the foliage,bearing singular,cup-shaped flowers with five vivid petals.The petals come in shades of fiery red,scarlet and occasionally orange,creating a fiery burst of color in any garden bed or border.The blooms typically appear in late spring or early summer, and their charming presence continues to grace the garden for several weeks.
