Melting Rocks - Textures Thursdays

For this weeks #texturesthursday by @naturecontest I am choosing this amazing image I took of some rocks on the shore of a beach in western Scotland. It looked almost like the rock was melting with lots of different colours all joining together. There was a little orange rock in the middle that looked like it had got stuck there over time with orange streams coming from it! It was so pretty, the textures on the rock were so amazing and I just couldn't believe it was stone not wood! This shot was taken with my Canon 6D and a 50mm 1.8 which is so handy to carry around as its so small!

This looks like some painting actually. Amazing how wonderful creations nature can paint during the course of time.

Very true!

Neat pic! Looks like obsidian if it rusted.

Thank you! Yes that is very true!

Wow ;)
