We started our hike on the edge of the cliffs and climbed down the limestone walls to the shore below. It was humid and green was spilling out of everything in the wet air.
We passed patches of pandanas trees clumping along the ridge lines moving in the breeze.
As we descended the jungle canopy thickened and we spied flashes of bright blue running through the undergrowth and when I sat still in focus I caught a glimpse of a few pacific blue tailed skinks!
Giant ancient ficus trees created a fortes of hiding spaces for us to play in through the wilderness. The ocean below was peaceful and all our own as we scurried under the wilderness of trees! An amazing day exploring:)
These are my photo entries into the Trees Tuesday Nature Photo Contest run by @shadalene. I shot these images with my old nikon while exploring the world with my husband.
