I photographed this tree on a winter walk. He is not spectacular, but he cast a spell on me in his simplicity.

I loved the silhouette of these trees against the amazing sunset sky! It was in Slovenia in November so there was still some snow on the mountains too!

my picture is from last summer. It was created on a lake near Munich. I really liked the reflection.

Sakura Tree in my school yard, University of Rovira I Virgili, Tarragona, Spain
Every year, at the time of spring beginning, the sakura trees in my school yard bloom. At this time, their bodies are covered by the flowers. It's pink and white. And it creates the beautiful picture in my yard. It also tells us that it is the time for the new semester with many special things waiting for us.

Best,

Many times in the New Zealand forests, there have been moments like this when I wasn't sure if it was a dream or reality. Such are the colors, the textures and the air of these forests; they really distort your perception. Magical trees in Waikaremoana Great Walk.

Wow!!!
It must have felt like a new adventure of the Lord of the Rings :)

Funny you said that - after returning from the NZ trip, I started to watch Lord of the Rings for the first time, from nostalgia for this country :)

Yes, it looks very magical.

Sky-high pines next to the pathway. I took some photos in the forest when we were going to Lake Pian Palú.

In many parts of the Patagonian steppe you simply won't see a tree.
I don't remember now my motivation when I've taken this picture, but it was quite possible that I was missing trees for a long time, so I just stood there looking at it.

Large panorama image taken on a recent trip to Canyonlands in Utah. This is actually up above canyonlands on an overlook during sunset.

Thanks for the lovely photo, @jarvie. Please upvote this post to remain a winner (see the participation rules. Thanks!

I took this picture in Owl Mountains in Poland. These mountains have a lot of hidden secrets...

Scots pine on a dutch heather field:

Not much of the heather is left; almost all grass. This is a common problem of the heather fields in Holland. But the original sheep are still there. This sheep got away from the flock.

This photo was taken early morning just a few days ago from the camp grounds where we were staying in rural New South Wales in Australia.

Today, I went to the cherry blossom park in Amsterdam and made a 360 photo that I turned into a tiny planet filled with cherry blossom trees. My kind of planet!
