Nazareno An Andean Town In Salta - Argentina

in nazareno •  last year

Nazareno(3100msnm) is a town in the Santa Victoria department northwest of the province of Salta, Argentina, between mountains and near the border with the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
The population is less than 3000 inhabitants.
If you want to visit it, it is necessary to travel to La Quiaca (Province of Jujuy) and take one of the many transports that leave from the market around midday. Most of the way is traveled through altitudes above 4000 meters above sea level, reaching approx. at 4735 meters above sea level at the highest point.
I leave images of my visit to the place, I hope you like them and if you are interested in getting to know the place, just write me a message and I will advise you in everything I can.

Farewell postcard, it is not the best but the 4200 meters above sea level took its toll on the stability of my camera
