Cleveland Cavaliers vs Indiana Pacers - Why I am rooting for Cavs plus a quick analysis of Game 1

Hello everyone! The 2018 NBA Playoffs has officially started and I can really feel the hype as well as the presence of so many bandwagons disguised as diehard NBA fans! Hahaha! By the way, it’s day two of this year’s playoffs and I just want to share about the matchup between the Pacers and the Cavaliers and why I am rooting for the latter.

I am an avid LeBron James fan ever since his debut in the NBA on 2003 but I also admit that I despised him when he left the Cavaliers to join Dwayne Wade in Miami Heat on 2010. But I am still happy that he got his 2 rings there!

There’s no doubt that LeBron is a great basketball player, particularly a great team player! Probably one of the greatest NBA players of all time but I don’t want to start an argument here so I won’t compare him to His Airness or Kobe. Haha!

Anyway, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers were defeated by the Indiana Pacers in their first game earlier this morning! Actually, the match started at around 3:30 AM here in the Philippines and I woke up at around 4:00 AM just to watch their game.

It was already in the 3rd quarter when I started watching the match and the Cavs were down by almost 20 points that time. I was kinda worried but I was still confident that LeBron would bounce back on the 4th quarter since he hadn’t lost in first round of the playoffs since 2012.

In fact LeBron James had not lost game 1 in his entire playoffs career! That is why; it was really unexpected that that game 1 winning streak was ended by a younger and weaker team hahaha! If you dispute this statement then let’s put on some wager for this series hahaha!

Well I might really consider that Lance Stephenson is really LBJ’s kryptonite! That man did really played well in distracting and stopping LeBron James! Remember when he blew LeBron’s ear during a match in the Eastern Conference Finals when LeBron was still in Miami? That was really hilarious! Ahahahaha! Watch it here.

Well today’s game is not really for LeBron and even if he scored triple double during that match today, it’s still not enough to claim the lead! But I know that he will once again play in this year’s finals. Anyone disputing this statement again may put some wager with me hahahaha!

So what are the factors that made the Cavaliers lose that game today? Well if you’ll look at their stats as a team, they only shoot 38.5 percent in the field! They also made only eight 3-pointers out of the 33 3-poinst attempts!

Although LeBron did his thing by posting his 20th postseason triple-doubles with 24 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, and that J.R. Smith and Larry Nance Jr. did contributed a good numbers from the bench, there was no other starting player who scored a double digit on that game!

On the other hand, Victor Oladipo, Myles Turner and Bojan Bogdanovic scored a staggering 32 points, 16 points and 15 points respectively! Thus this upstart Pacers team is definitely not to be estimated! But still, I am confident that LeBron James and his squad will win this series! Ahahaha!

I'm also a fan of LeBron. He is number 2 of my all time favorite players after Michael Jordan

Ohhh that is good! But how about Kobe Bryant? Hehehe

Kobe Bryant will be number 3 on my list.

Ahahaha aw snap!

even though they were down by 10 most of the game, they seemed to have all the momentum going into the 4th quater. Lebron will pull it out....what line up do you think they will use game 2?

I think their starting 5 was okay, it's just that they shoot poorly during that game. They also need to improve their defense.
