Dirk Nowitzki has made a great contribution to the success and growth of the Dallas Mavericks wherein he stayed with them for all throughout his career. He even took pay cuts and I thought he deserves that and more. I'm a big fan of him (in fact Dirk Nowitzki has been my idol before LeBron and I grieved when they lost to the Miami last 2006 and rejoice when they won the NBA Finals back then in 2011. I won't act like I don’t recognize what he sacrificed for the greater good of his team even if it didn't always come to winning multiple chips and it angers me because that Chandler Parsons investment of Mavericks was a bust. For the Mavericks players it was easy to play with an unselfish player. He made sure everyone who deserved to get payed got payed by sacrificing his own salary even in his prime. Well deserved and a great way to immortalized Nowitzki’s legacy wherein he brought the Mavericks franchise one of the most memorable championship (if not the most memorable and rejoicing for the Mavericks team and the fans like me).
