The Portland Trail Blazers recent addition to their team which is Carmelo Anthony has been named Western Conference Player of the Week after averaging 22.3 points per-game, 7.7 rebounds per-game, and 2.7 assists per-game on 60 percent from the field. Now Carmelo Anthony caught the NBA's attention real quick and showing the NBA teams that he still got fuel left in his tank. It is a great start for him actually and hopefully he stays healthy and continues to share the ball with his teammates. I hope he continues to play ball wisely and efficiently. This recognition will definitely boost his confidence. He reminds me of the Melo in his beginning, his attitude I mean and his gameplay! He is hungry to prove himself as one of the best despite his age. Too bad such a player played for the New York Knicks in his prime and it is unfortunate for this talented scorer that doesn’t have an NBA championship. Hopefully the Blazers continue to stack some wins and qualify for the playoffs, they are beast especially on the inside with Hassan Whiteside in their center who can play defense and offense.
