NBA All-Star weekend has changed

Hey (NBA) Steemians,

this is my first post about one of my passions. Its Basketball and the NBA . Well I watch and follow the NBA about 15-20 years long and I see a lot of good things and some "not so good" things whats goin on in the leageau.

Today is the last day of the NBA All-Star weekend 2018!!! Yeaah.... wooow.... yep... thats it....
I have watched the All-Star weekend since my childhood and it was a special weekend for my friends to. I live in Germany this means I have to stay awake a loooong time this weekend. Its a great event for everybody of us.

But in the last years it becomes very boring because there is no game in the game. Not everything is bad but a few things. I write this post to discuss how you people think about the NBA All-Star weekend.
First: The dunk contest

I dont get why there are only 4 dunkers in a such a huuugee leageau?! I mean there is so much potential and they only give 4 players a chance to show their moves and skills?! 30 Teams, only 4 players.
And 50% of the dunks which we have seen last night were oldschool dunks which were performend before. So what makes the "newer" dunk contest so much better?
PS The dunk of Nance Jr. with the backboard was very good!

Second:
World vs USA - Rising Star Game

This could be a big thing, but this typ of game is like the real all star game. A little bit rivalry would be so much better for the intensity of the game. Especially for the fans out there. The game was more a dunk contest game than a real game with a little bit of team play. There is Ben Simmons who wants to play in the Allstar Game but he has to play this World vs USA game and you see it on his gameplay how much he wants to play right now. Only some guy were playing with their heart.

Third:
Skills Challenge

Well, this I kind of like it. Its a short period of time where you have to prove yourself, but what you show on the court are your skills as a basketball player. Dribbling, layup, passing and shooting from long range. Especially its nice to see how the taller guys can compare themselves to the shorter guards or forwards. Last years winner was Kristaps Porzingis, he is about 221 cm ( 7ft. 3 I ) and this is the new type of the game and the leageau. Big guys can dribble, pass und shoot the ball from long range and there is no limit fore increasing their skills.

Tonight is the ALL-STAR GAME!

My forecast for tonight is:

Team Lebron:
Lebron has the ball. Kyrie wants the ball because he is the Pointguard but they will play Lebrons game and thats it.

Team Curry:
Fast break! Shoot! Fast break! Shoot! Fast break!Fast break!Fast break! Shoot!

and YESSSSS Team Lebron will also do Fast break! Shoot! Fast break!

Lets hope I am wrong and the game tonight will be a new chapter of the All-Star weekend.

So what are you thinking? :)
