Teknaf
Located in the southeast corner of Bangladesh. It is 86 kilometers from Cox's Bazar district. Naf river flows on the eastern edge of Teknaf upazila, This area is named after this Naf river. Teknaf has many tourist attractions. These include Teknaf's sea beach, Ne-Tang or Deity Hill, Mathin's well, a bunker made of British soldiers during World War II. Teknaf Sea beach is more clean than Cox's Bazar beach.
Taken by me when I went there.When people traveling to Teknaf upazila, tourists never forget to visit Mathin's well. Mathin's well is located in front of Teknaf police station. In the early 20th century, a police officer named Dhiraj Bhattacha from Kolkata was transferred to Teknaf Police Station. At that time, the daughter of one of the king of indigenous communities could bring water from the wells located in the police station. The newbie handsome young officer at Dhiraj police station always looked after the Matin when she went there for bring. Thus, they were close together and later it became in love.

Mathin's wellMathin's well on the historic monuments of the fourteen-year-old Mathin and Dhiraj. Dhiraj-Mathin did not marry for the because of religious differences. Matin died Because of losing her love. This is a history of eternal genuine love. Mothin's insatiable love is witness to the Mathin's well.
The best place to stay at Teknaf is Bangladesh's tourism corporation's Motel No Tong. This motel of tourism is outside the city of Teknaf. There are some middle-quality hotels in Teknaf town. Rooms at these hotels can be found at Tk 300-1500. Besides, if you want you can stay tuned on Shah Pari Island. Teknaf upazila consists of 10 large Buddhist kangas. Among these, the largest Buddhist statue is located in the Nang-Thong Hills Kang. The size and artistic properties of the Buddhist statue are much better than others.
Buddhist statueThere is no way of life guards in Teknaf's sea beach. There is no sign of tidal flooding on this beach. The fishermen here have accurate information on the tide of time. So if you want to get off the sea, you should know about the tide from fishermen.
Burmese marketThere is also a big Burmese market in Teknaf. There are hundreds of tourists shopping in the market every day.
