During my handspun2hat challenge this year I came across some wound yarn that was originally leftover yarn from hats I made years ago! I got to whip up this beauty while remembering the hats the yarn helped make and the people who enjoyed those hats. A bunch of leftover yarn into one hat may become a thing for me from now on.
All of the blended left over yarn made a really nice piece! This hat is lovely! No need to waste yarn when they can make great projects like these ~

I love this! I get the same feeling looking at a patchwork quilt--remembering each fabric as "my Sunday dress" or "Granny's tablecloth" and such.
