Lovely colour combinations, @kimbolo. I have never tried this stitch. I guess it uses lots of yarn too !

    Thanks @cryptocariad. Yes it does take quite a bit of yarn - i think i used about 6 100g balls of each colour. I couldve used a bigger hook and maybe left it a bit loopier, but i like the tight knit of it :) cosy for the winter
