Sorry, the past week has been a rush of sewing:

mending and fixing torn and loose garments and bags:

It is one of those weeks of mostly mending and fixing but it feels good to complete these little needed work that has been piling up over the weeks and months.

Happy holiday y'all!

you're right! We rarely write about repair work, but they are important and take a lot of time and effort.

Yup yup! So true! Thank you @tali72!

Hope you also get a chance to relax, @marblely.

I'm also interested to hear whether or not you had to patch the bag when mending it... They tend to fray so much there's often not enough fabric to 'take in' for the seam.

Thank you @cryptocariad :) hope you get to relax too with your family.
Ah, I just did a double fold and sew it down. And because it is a shopping bag, the β€˜look’ outcome did not matter much. Haha.

Uck! Repairs! Not the most favourite job on my list... and I always usually procrastinate!

Good for you for getting to them.... it took me two years to fix my husband's coveralls, lol! 😝

Haha yah. I still have jeans to fix from 2 yrs ago too! It usually depends on my mood and the mood to fix rarely comes. Haha

I always have such a giant-sized mending and altering pile, and am so bad about getting it done. You have my admiration. :)

I still do! Hehe. Thank you @phoenixwren. Hope you too will find the mood to mend and alter some in your pile :)
