Small crochet projects are my favorite as they work up fast, but still have thay “made by me” charm. There’s also something comforting about headbands, they make my head and hair feel more together. Headbands I found out this week, are a perfect project for me.

Especially when I’m sharing pieces for needleworkmonday.

The black one was made with a single crochet stitch made the length of my head and then stitched together.

The aqua one was made in one continuous circle, with a twist added, to give it a little more pull and elasticity. I also made a nice white one which was being used as a bracelet last I saw it, and this colorful one pictured below.

Your headbands are adorable, @metzli! And the kid is pretty cute, too! Happy #NeedleworkMonday to you, my dear!

Thanks for visiting.

Very cute headbands!! I really love the twist you put in the aqua one!

I understand what you mean about them working up quickly but yet they were made by your hands. Thanks again for suggesting this idea for my Spring/Summer project for the hat store :D

Thanks for stopping by.

The first twisty piece I made care out that way as a mistake. Recreating the mistake got tricky for me.

Sure!! Well great mistake you made there!! Lol 😄

Very beautiful and the turquoise works so well with your hair <3 I am thinking about knitting one...(because I also want to make something small to try out doing cables)

My mom suggested knitting to give the bands more stretch - but knitting requires thinking for me, I can’t seem to find a rhythm to mindlessly knit. Thanks for visiting.

The turquoise one with the twist is really cute! Small projects can be so rewarding to do.

Thanks for stopping by. ❤️❤️

I enjoyed reading your post @metzli :)

I think that crocheted headbands are also a real good way of trying out different yarns and new stitches and a totally awesome alternative for a hat - when the weather can't decide if it's still winter or spring...
