@fotostef takes us on a another stunning photographic #needleworkmonday journey. This week he showcases the art of weaving by his partner, the artist as they settle down in their new home, creating unique "kourelou" rugs using old clothes or linen, cut into strips. Here, pictures are worth many thousand words.

Ever wonder what to do with that old jeans of yours? How about repurposing it into a handbag and jazz it up with beautiful crocheted flowers? This is @carolinacardoza's recommendation for us this week, sharing her passion for recycling. Never throw away any old garment.

I have always thought it is complicated to sew a barbie doll's costume. But @sheilamenher shows us how easy it is to create a barbie doll's garment with just a sock in a safe way that even her daughter could try her hands on! A wonderful way to introduce pattern creation and dress making to the young ones.

Needleworkmonday - baby pillow @lordvdr

The most beautiful gifts are those that are handmade and @lordvdr did just that by making a pillow for his friend's baby using fabric scraps. He shows us step-by-step on how easy it is to sew one, an inspiration for us to perhaps sew one for ourselves or for our loved ones :)
