Hello dear friends seamstresses steemians !!! Today rewarding day after work, I spent last week working on an embroidery that I loved doing, since the logo is very nice, it was destined to be a prize for a contest for Father's Day, it is a Mr Sugar caps Embroidered, I thought it was nice to share it by #needleworkmonday this week.
Well guys to make this logo as it is the original digital, we must enter it in the Wilcom program where we will turn it into thread and the embroidery machine can recognize the logo to be made.
The type of fabric and structure of the cap is very important, as this will allow us to know how we are going to make the design, in this case it is an acrylic cap with a hard structure and in the middle it has a thick seam, for this reason we must place a base of previous thread so that the definition of the details are the most precise, since it is a face and must be defined.
Support run - base of yarn - base edge
After having the base ready we will go with the details, the first loop since the drawing ends down and I decided to start down, always have to try that the machine makes as little movement as possible, thus saving thread and time.
Now, in the beard we see 2 colors, dark orange and light orange, we must respect the colors of the logo as much as possible to discuss the effect of its combination.
Now the same thing happens with the face, it has 2 colors and we must comply with those two tones, we will look for some tones of threads that resemble and can fulfill what we observe.
Now it has a detail of the bald on the teeth and a line on the face, in fact the line of the face does not worry me, but the teeth are usually in embroidery when they are so small details the machine does not sew it, because in this case I will do it like this in the image a few small squares separated, not to use stitches that sometimes simplify but does not meet the expectations.
And finally friends eyes and nose that I had to pronounce with a plumetis brown line for more definition and eyes a little larger so that the machine thing and have a fixed look, but is somewhat moved.
For this last reason I decided to put more thread on the small figures so that I can do better the difficulty of all the top parts of the base (face, beard, hair and eyes)...
We have finished our beautiful Mr Sugar design, now get to work and make these gift caps!
The Cap must be placed in the special cap frame that is circular, and place the design in .DST format so that our ZGM embroidery machine can read it, we synchronize the space of the embroidery in the frame and we center it so that the logo is straight on the cap.
Our machine will recognize the logo according to the order of layers that we put in the design, first our running stitch and brown base with edge.
Following with the bowtie, beard and hair, with threads of dark orange and light orange.
Now the machine will make the face, the teeth and the eyes to define the face well.
And here we have had our nice Mr Sugar logo, you know, it looks a lot like a friend, I'm sure someone will know what it looks like;)
We also place an embroidery of the emblem on the left side: D
Congratulations to the winners, with a lot of love @sheilamenher
