Needlework Monday – Small recycling blouses

in needleworkmonday •  6 years ago

Hi, my Steemit colleagues on hobby !!!

Today is the #NeedleworkMonday!!! My work on knitting a winter bag has progressed considerably but is not yet finished so today I decided to show you my little remakes of blouses. I have a very nice natural Indian tunic that I decided to change a little so that it had a hilarious summer look.

  The tunic looked like this:

Very nice in hot weather but sad :) If you remember, I bought buttons in the shops of creativity. I decided to use them. It turned out not very creative but still better than it was before that :))) I also assembled the sleeves on the elastic band; so I like them more.

I was given two blouses made in Israel. This means skewed in all directions :)))) Before I change them a bit, I asked my husband to take a picture of me in them. It was terrible and I deleted those photos. So now I will show you the finished result. I was able to slightly level the neck and decorate it. I could not fix the bottoms of blouses; it must be reshaped again and this was not part of my plans and I left it as it is. At first I tried to decorate them like a neck too, but this only further emphasized the skewing of the fabric and I removed all that I had sewn.

I was quite satisfied with what blouses look like now. The fabric is pleasant in the heat and on the bottom of the blouse no one pays attention :)))

I wish you creative inspiration and look forward to your work !!!

wow, this is so pretty @tali72. You look just simple with your needlework today.hay day dear

Thank you! I am very pleased! :)

I love how you give a personal touch to your clothes :)

Thank you! I do not always have the opportunity to buy those clothes that I like. so I try to make me like the clothes that I have :)))

Wow you have such beautiful hair - I am envious, I always wanted to have such big curls <3 And all shirts turned out very nice, I especially like you in the green one, it is perfect with your light hair - the whole outfit with the long skirt, and the heels is so cool.
You are really good sewing your personal style.

and when I was young on the contrary I wanted to have straight hair :))))) thank you my dear!!!!! I love bright colors and I'm glad that people in Israel also love it. a beautiful evening for you !!!!

I always wanted to have such a volume too:)

You do very well enhancing your blouses and adding your own personal touch to them. I like how you added the elastic band to the sleeves. The neckline on that green shirt looks very lovely as you do wearing it :)

Thank you for sharing this gallery of enhanced blouses on this #NeedleWorkMonday!

Thank you! it seems to me that with such sleeves the tunic looks more neat

I absolutely love all the necklines, they make the blouses pop, you sure like to do a lot of beautifications to your dresses and it makes them unique. I also noticed for a while now that you love handbags, there's not one picture here that you aren't wearing one, cool! And I like your hair, and the very gorgeous hat you were wearing in the first picture, you look so pretty in all your pictures @tali72 🙂

Oh! thank you dear!!!! you're right, I'm very comfortable with this bag. I'll talk about this bag in one of my posts - it's also handmade but certainly not my work :) in Israel as in your country for most of the year is very hot so I always go to the hats in the daytime and sometimes I even take an umbrella with repelling sun rays from inside. I make changes in clothes as often as necessary. my parents love to make me gifts: they buy clothes. but without me! I get a gift that does not always fit well on me or even does not suit me. I do not want to be ungrateful and do not want to upset them so I'm starting to think about what I can do with this clothes so I can dress it and look normal. but unlike you I do not know how to sew and I do not have a sewing machine (in Israel they are very expensive). I do not always get a good result, but still I can wear these things :)

Handmade bag wow, will look forward to that post, your parents buying you clothes is so cute of them! But without you lol, I know that feeling, I'm happy that you try to remodel them, and yeah you definitely need sun glasses, hats, umbrellas and the like if the weather grows that hot, and sorry about the prices of sewing machines in Israel, there are very small ones tho, I don't know if those are also expensive

You look pretty in your blouses and skirts @tali72! Nice redesigning work :) The pink buttons and ribbons work very well with the white blouse and the lace works the neckline of the blouses very nicely.

so many details! All the necklaces, belts, bracelets...
You have good taste!

Thank you!
