NeedleWorkMonday: What I've made #13- The Minecraft Hat!

in needleworkmonday •  7 years ago

Recently I wrote about the poncho that I made for my daughter for Christmas a couple of years ago. That same year I also made a Minecraft creeper hat for my son. My boys are absolutely in love with Minecraft, so I wanted to make something that was Minecraft themed. After some searching I found this great free crochet hat pattern on Ravelry!

This was my first, and only, time working in intarsia, so there was a bit of a learning curve going on here. But, the pattern was very straightforward and I really love the finished product. My son does too!

I really like this. Very cool design and it looks really good. Thanks for the post.

Thank you! This was a great pattern and fairly simple to follow.

Great crochet hat, thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much!

It's always a pleasure to see needlework art. Congrats on mastering intarsia.

Thank you! I love this new hashtag because I'm starting to see more needlework in my news feed and that just makes my day better.

I have never tried intarsia crochet. You did a good job especially for your first time! I think it's good when we challenge ourselves and try something new. I really love that bright green color! 😍👌🏽

I was pretty nervous starting out, but it worked out really well and I was pretty happy with it. I would be willing to try it again for the right project. I completely agree with you. It is great to challenge ourselves and try new techniques. Thank you!

Absolutely! 😊

Awesome! I use crochet and knitting in some of my work. I like your stuff. I'm going to follow :)

Thank you so much!
