The Mandela Effect and Parallel Universes | Answers With Joe

in nelsonmandela •  6 years ago

How can millions of people distinctly remember something that never happened? Could it be proof of multi-dimensional parallel universes? Or is human memory just incredibly unreliable?

Nelson Mandela was a South African civil rights leader and former president who passed away in 2013 at the age of 95. But many people seem to remember him dying in jail decades ago.

Similarly, there are a ton of people who grew up reading the Berenstain Bears books and were convinced that the name was "Berenstein." How could so many people be so wrong about something so specific?

Many believe this is proof of a parallel universe, but the answer may lie in the way our brain creates and retrieves memories.
