WeChat has 1 billion monthly active users as per last quarter. It is far and away the very best surveillance tool the Chinese government has to keep tabs on 1 billion people. Think about that. The ID of users is real (as on Facebook), so the NEM address will actually meet the AML/KYC requirements the Chinese government has... and it is WeChat... they have major influence. It is a slam dunk.
