NEM is not mineable so people prefer other alts like ether, monero the reason NEM is not in the spotlight!

      Well this is one way of approach and i'm not saying this is wrong but a different approach. But most people including me prefer Mining because it increases your crypto as you proceed and if the price goes up you earn way more than just holding a crypto!
