Some would say they've arrived, if they had a nemesis, archenemy, rival. That you must really be somebody to incite such loathing. Though I don't expect everyone to like me, I really would prefer not to have people who would actually abhor me & wish for my downfall, perhaps even masterminding it. That's the stuff of superheroes, sheriffs in the Old West, other crime fighters. It's the age old, good vs evil. The man on the white horse, the knight in shining armor, as it were, needs someone to have conflict & battle with. I suppose they don't, but, for many, that's a big part of what drives the story. Have you ever had an enemy, in any fashion?
