everyone is rekt, but maybe we should be, if cardano, ripple, neo, and bitcoin cash are all in the top 10. maybe we deserve this.
if you think about it, a "centralized" crypto, like neo or vechain, is totally worthless. why? because the entire novelty and value of bitcoin, and thus cryptocurrencies as a whole, is all dependent on decentralization.
because what's the point of btc, what's its advantage over fiat? it solves doublespend, there are no third parties, and so on and so forth.
being centralized takes that away. neo and vechain are essentially the same thing as facebook or a bank. they hold all the power and can wield it as they wish. all the advantages of blockchain technology fall away.
they are centralized companies offering you a product, masquerading as a cryptocurrency.
