Life and especially politics is not fair. David Nakamura published a piece in the Washington Post yesterday (Jan 16) about how foreign policy professionals feel that there is a black list against those who signed either one or both letters that appeared in the Washington Post and the New York Times. You can be a part of team that started a disastrous war that killed over a million people and blew through over a trillion dollars for no discernible benefit - you suffer no consequences. You can be a part of an informal group expressing legitimate concerns about a candidate's lack of foreign policy experience and you suffer a complete freeze out. It makes me want to smile. :)
