The (NEX) NEON Exchange ICO will be launched off the NEO platform. NEX will be a Decentralized Exchange which will bring it's users privacy, control of their assets, and less change of possible hacks as that of a centralized exchange which could have their servers hacked (still possible to hack one's computer).
Coming out of the gate the Neon Exchange (NEX) will be set up with NEO and/or GAS pairings to be able to trade NEP5 tokens. NEO will be broken down into XNEO to be able to be processed through their payment system in order to purchase other cryptos.
In Q4, 2018 they are looking to set up a cross chain that will make it possible to trade ethereum based tokens, if not sooner.
After placing an order, it will be placed through an off-chain matching system which will find you the best match for your order. NEX will also offer limit, market, and margin order types. Not all these types of orders have been seen on a Decentralized exchange all at once.
The purpose of the NEX token will be to fund the project. 50% of the tokens will be placed for saled during their ICO, which will probably sell out rather quickly. Owners of NEX tokens will be given profit sharing based off the profits that the NEON exchange makes. Payouts will be paid out based on the proportionate amount of NEX owned and how long the NEX tokens have been staked.
Overall, I am hoping to get my hands on NEX tokens through the ICO and given the opportunity through open market also.
