DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES! 2 Peter 1:1-21

Wrong assumptions could lead to fatal errors. Many who love God have been fatally wounded for this error. Life for a Christian is battle, essentially because Satan controls the human space. There is a space, however, that supersedes the human space. If you stretch your faith towards Jesus, you will be pulled to that privileged space.

John 15:19 "If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you"

Any attempt to get out of the grip of Satan will be met with strong resistance. He plots to make men fall, so that they can fail and lose their rewards. I heard a minister say, "It's not a crime to fall, but a crime to stay down. I quickly interjected that either way, it's a crime! A crime against yourself and against those whose destiny are tied to you. No matter how many are against you, their others who are wishing you well and praying for you; because your prosperity will profit them.

God can forgive when you repent, but the dent leaves a dark spot. Besides, any fall is a setback; there are consequences for actions. A fall could take one several steps backward and many years to recover from. Think again before you do that sin.

Jesus uses plants to illustrate and make parables. Our walk with God is like the planting of a seed, it has a time of maturity and seasons of bearing fruits. If one falls, what was already maturing will be uprooted. Although repentance is acceptable: you will have to join a new reproduction line. Setbacks could take several steps backward. To imagine that a fall is of not much effect: is a deception from hell, crime against yourself and disservice to destinies tied to you.

You are not meant to be stagnant water or barren land: don't make the mistakes others have made. Dustup yourself and fight the good fight of faith. Correct the errors that lead to setbacks and move on in the production line. You will make it: but not without a determination to live the holy life.
