Mud festival in Nepal falls in mid-June (Ashad according to Nepalese calendar). This festival is celebrated in the paddy fields at the time of planning paddy plants. People throw mud at each other which is aslo considered good for skin. The mud festival is also followed by singing local folk song which is especially sang during that particular time of the year and many more exciting events.
