Dreaming Of Nepal

I love Nepal. Several years ago I was commissioned by Earth Touch to head over there and do some filming. We started in the mountains of the Langtang Region searching for the elusive Red Panda. Despite our best efforts we had no luck so after several days we headed back to Kathmandu to regroup and make a new plan.

After meeting the wonderful Hem Baral and interviewing him we agreed to head for Chitwan National Park down on the Indian border. This is Rudyard Kipling country and we spent and amazing week here filming so much wildlife. My fave part of the whole experience was filming the captured man eating tiger. We also met tiger attack survivors and their stories were hair raising.

In the end the footage we gained from the trip was used to make a very cool short documentary about the Greater One-horned Rhino. The video below is a best-of reel from the trip including clips from all the places we visited. Hope you like it!
