Nepal , a developing country, as all know ,trying to be developed soon are seeking many possible ways to do so.But due to political unstability , not a single government last for more than a month. And per due to its landscape , it had been much difficult to develop all parts of the ccountry, so to overcome this problem and proceed development in all parts parallely , Nepal has been divided into 7 provinces, all based on the topography.
Starting from east , provinve no. 1 Consists of mostly hilly areas and some part of terai and mountain. 
Province 2 is all dealt with terai. 
Similarly province 3 ,4,6,7 consists of mainly dun regions and mostly the upper country parts.
And the province 5 is also all confined to terai.
Capital of the country , Kathmandu is governed in province 3.
