Firstly, Luck was pretty good, but Apple kind of sucks as a distribution platform.
For one thing, there are wayyyy fewer subscribers than other streaming services. For another, it's interface is really hard to navigate and recommendations are weak, in part because there's considerably less original content there than anywhere else.
Skydance partnering with Netflix is much better for them, and with some stuff from Brad Bird coming down the line, that's pretty exciting.
