The final season of House of Cards coming to Netflix on November 2nd

House of Cards is one of the most popular Netflix original series so far. It has millions of fans all across the world, and now they are all waiting for the eight and final season of the series.

Kevin Spacey has been the face of House of Cards so far, but because of accusations of sexual harassment, he has been taken off the cast, and the eight and final series will be shown without him on display. That is a major change, and I have some big House of Cards fans as my friends, and they are all skeptical to what the last eight episodes (season 8) will manage without Kevin Spacey.

What happened to Kevin Spacey?

In October 2017, Kevin Spacey was first accused of harassing Anthony Rapp when he was 14 years old. Following this accusation, numerous other people also came up with similar claims. As a result, Netflix cut all their connections to Kevin Spacey, and the final season of House of Cards had to be recorded without him.

What we do know is that Robin Wright will step up as the new President of the United States. We also know that there will be some new characters showing up in the final season, for example:

• Diane Lane. You might know her from Batman v. Superman (2016), Justice League (2017), Paris Can Wait (2016), and several other movies.
• Greg Kinnear. You might know him from As Good As It Gets (1997), Heaven is for Real (2014), Stuck in Love (2012), Same Kind of Different as Me (2014), Sabrina (1995), and lots of other movies.

Lots of the actors we know so well from House of Cards will return as well, like Patricia Clarkson, Constance Zimmer, Derek Cecil, Campbell Scott and Boris McGiver.

The eight and last season of House of Cards will premiere on Netflix worldwide on November 2nd. I am not completely sure, but I do believe they will release all eight episodes at once.

Since this is a Netflix original production, you do not need to change your Netflix region in order to stream it online. It will be available in all Netflix countries at once, meaning there will be no waiting time, which is great.
