Importance of Engaging with Communities in Steemit

Well we all know that for newly registered users , Steemit is a harsh place to survive. Obviously new users are having a lot of trouble and most of them quit the platform without understanding the purpose of Steemit. I tried to recruit tons of people to the platform but I failed in that mission terribly. According to my gathered data 80 percent of my newrecruits quited the platform in first 2 weeks. Their feedback was simple They said I couldn't engage with the community and nobody sees my article.

Networking and Working for Communities

Well for some people Steemit is a platform with a different mining style. At the beggining I started with the same purposes but after using the platform for some time , I decided that the most loved feature of Steemit is Networking for me. Therefore I always encourage the new Steemians to join some community or chat room to socialize. I was lucky enough to engage some community in my first week and I can say that it was my biggest luck.

My First Engagement with the Community

Well in my first week I discovered some newly forming community called Steemit Poker League. @tuck-fheman and @bigpchef were trying to build a community and I really loved the idea of it and I hopped in the hype train. They were really working hard and I started to think How can I contribute to this community ? Well I always been a gaming addict so I decided to stream and commentate the tournament games organized by Steemit Poker League. Well I put some effort but I enjoyed a lot after engaging with the community.

Well after I stream I met with so many good people in this community and it motivated me to continue Steemit. Because of that reason I reccomend a lot of people to join a community and start making some network. Well reading and writing articles are a good idea but Networking is going to be your most strong asset in your Steemit journey.

I'm currently working for another projects hopefully I will mention the journey of those in my future articles.
