Happy Uppity Nigger Day

Today is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in the US. He spent much of his fighting true injustice - being an "uppity nigger" against the government imposed constrictions on his rights of travel and association. But the government solution, of course, was worse than the disease. It made protected classes of people who got special governmental protections. It codified the prevention of government imposed injustice with a greater government imposed injustice.
The civil Rights Act of 1964 has single-handedly added millions to the unemployable among their "protected classes" - anyone who can sue you under the act. Companies are not stupid; if it comes down to a choice between an untested unprotected person, and an untested protected person, you of course hire the unprotected person - because you can fire them easily. You would NEVER hire or promote unprotected and protected people at the same time - because if you give merit raises and the protected don't get as many, you are open to a lawsuit. If they are hired on different days, you have at least some defense.
American black inner city youth have suffered the most from this evil discrimination law. Before the imposition of it, they were averaging LESS unemployment than white youth. Now their unemployment rate is TRIPLE that of unprotected youths (the numbers don't fully reflect this, since more whites are gay).
