Neville: Will The King of the Cruiserweights Return to WWE?

in neville •  7 years ago

After months of speculation about the status of former WWE Crusierweight Champion Neville, there continues to be conflicting reports on the current negotiations (or lack there of) between the two sides.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Neville has made it very clear to WWE that he would like to be released from his contract and would no longer like to be a part of the company. Meltzer states that the two sides have stopped communicating and that WWE will not grant his release, but rather hold him for the remainder of his contract, which they’ve done to other superstars in the past.

In a conflicting report however, PWInsider.com reported last week that the two sides were getting along and were indeed working on a possible resolution to the issues between them. Those talks have apparently subsided from the time being.

Obviously, it’s almost impossible to tell what exactly Neville or WWE is currently thinking, especially with a situation as complicated as this. Stay with PWP Nation for more in the coming days and weeks.

I was wondering what happened to him. Last I heard he just walked out during a show. If he is pushing for more from WWE I'm behind him, because after 2017 other wrestlers before him have proven that there's other opportunities out there.

The real story is that he simply called out of weekend house shows & then told them he wasn't coming to Raw. He was never at the building. But you're 100% right. He's going to CRUSH IT when he gets to the indies.
