    This is a beautiful speech. i can watch it many times over and have done so many time before. Chaplin at his finest, imo. He stays in character in this scene with the vocal delivery, and delivers a message that seems to jump out-of sync with the character he was comedically portraying. One of the greatest comics to have lived. Seeing him here, fills in all the silences.

    It is a truly beautiful speech.probably the best I have ever heard.I can relate to his love of humanity.I sometimes try to wake people up and share some truths but it usually falls on deaf ears.....anyway thanks for the support.✌️

      absolutely love this scene; and the production of the video makes it even better. I'd recommend everyone have this video bookmarked, just to watch as a refresher whenever you're feeling uninspired or cynical.

        I love this speech the words spoken are about 75 years old but still resonate with people now as they did then,timeless
