Two years ago, I and my wife went to the holy saints. The place where the royal family of Nicholas II was killed and buried. This place is called << Ganina Yama >>

On the site of their murder is a beautiful monastery.

The monastery works to this day, despite the fact that it twice burned. Thank God that everything cost two times the chapel burned. Many foreigners from all over the world come to the monastery. It is a part of history and everyone wants to get to the holy historical land.

@dimidrolshina very interesting

Great - thanks for the amazing pictures. Its very sad that they had to face such a violent death. If Nicholas II was a bit far sighted he could have sent his family to Crimea much before. His mother Maria Feodorovna was also in Crimera when the revolution occurred and escaped safely in the warship HMS Marlborough sent by King George V. They could have escaped with her.
