Audi presents the new Audi Q5 family at the 8th International Motor Show in Buenos Aires. The successful SUV of the four rings combines the sportiness of a sedan with a multifaceted character and a very comfortable and flexible interior. Whether in connectivity, efficiency or driver assistance systems - the new Audi Q5 once again sets standards in its segment. The range is completed with the Audi SQ5 and the Audi Q5 Security.
"Without doubt the Audi Q5 has become a huge commercial success worldwide and of course also in Argentina. Today we have the privilege of presenting the renewal not only of the model, but of the entire Q5 family, "said Conrado Wittstatt, General Manager of Audi Argentina at the brand's press conference. "Among the great innovations are the quattro traction system with ultra technology, more efficient engines, pneumatic suspension with damping control and a wide range of assistance systems", says the executive.
The Q5 family arrives from the new plant that Audi built especially for this model in Mexico and supplies from there the world demand, thus increasing the global production capacity of the brand.

The new Audi SUV takes a sporty and solid stance in the street. Its single-frame grille sculpted with a solid frame dominates its aerodynamically flat front. It is available with high resolution LED headlights.
The mudguards have a major role in this new generation of the model and are a clear reference of the quattro permanent traction system. Like the front, the horizontal lines on the back convey an image of great personality.
The tailgate wraps around the C-pillars - a feature typical of Audi Q models. High-quality inserts integrate exhaust pipes.

Regarding the weight the new Audi Q5 is lighter than its predecessor. In this new generation the engineers of the brand managed to save up to 90 kg (198.4 lb).
4.66 meters long, 1.89 meters wide and 1.66 meters high with a wheelbase of 2.82 meters - compared to the previous model, the new Q5 has grown in almost all its dimensions. As a result, the unladen weight was reduced by the engine up to 90 kg (198.4 lb).

The new Q5 also excels in its segment in terms of aerodynamics. The initial version of the range reaches a cd figure of 0.30 with the aerodynamically optimized roof. The operation of the new Audi Q5 is intuitive and is marked by three new features. The Audi virtual cockpit, as standard, features brilliant graphics on its high-resolution 12.3-inch display. The driver can choose between two views: a classic view with large round instruments and a mode in which the navigation map or lists dominate the scene.
The MMI located in the center console acts as the main control element. The navigation MMI plus is integrated in the central rotary knob.
The sound system of this model is complemented by the Audi smartphone interface which includes Apple CarPlay and Android in the new Audi Q5.
In its driver assistance systems, the new Audi Q5 also spearheads its segment with a wide range of high technology. In their intelligent interaction, the large number of systems offered represents a next step towards piloted driving.
