Coinbase Launches the First Crypto Index Fund

San Francisco, - Cryptocurrency Exchange, Coinbase today announced the release of its first index fund.

The Global Digital Asset Exchange (GDAX), owned by San Francisco-based retail market, will provide investors with the option to purchase goods.

"We see strong demand from customers and the market generally for passive investment management products," said Coinbase's representative.

"We are pleased to announce the Coinbase Index Fund," the company announced. the fund will give investors exposure to all digital assets listed on the Coinbase, GDAX exchanges.

GDAX is a professional exchange designed by Coinbase, which allows choice of common stock like market orders, limit, stop, and margin.

on the other hand, Coinbase serves more than 13 million retail customers who often claim to have made a sale and purchase transaction. Currently four digital assets are listed and paired such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cash Bitcoin, and Litecoin.

"We see new investors coming into the market, but the point is they do not know which one to buy," Bramanathan told Business Insider.

The fund index has changed the way many people think about investing. by providing a variety of exposures to various assets, index funds allow investors to track the overall performance of asset classes, rather than having to select individual assets.

the company warned, "At this stage, investments in the Coinbase Index Fund will only be available to US-accredited investors. We are working to launch more funds available to all investors and include broader digital assets. "
