New Home Buyer - Step by Step Guide to Buying a Home

This is my first post and as i was browsing the topics list in Steemit, it was surprising that there was not a single topic/blog on house buying, so there you go - I am starting a house buying blog, I will cover all aspects of buying a home. My objective is to make it simple and easy to follow. Hope you enjoy the post!

Let's start with the steps involved:

1. Obtain pre-approval from a bank (To get an in-principle approval that you are eligible for mortgage and how much one can afford)
2. Select a real estate agent
3. Consultation with RE agent on what you are looking for in a property
4. View properties [As selected by RE agent based on your requirements]
5. Put in an offer to purchase

Once offer is accepted;

1. Conduct property inspection [Re-evaluate terms of offer where issues are found]
2. Conduct title search
3. Obtain title insurance
4. Obtain Financing [An entire topic by itself :)]

Final Step - Closing;

1. Obtain funds for closing/Close on the property
