new to steemit

hi, found this site through you tube and thought it would be interesting to open an account since i already have steem in another wallet and i guess this would be putting it to good use. does anyone have any tips to make my overall experience better here? my interests are cryptos, sharing knowledge and making the world an overall better place. i've been developing a new interest in code and would like some tips on learning that better also. thanks for reading. :)
