Changing your profile background

You must have seen another Steemian by now with a really cool background instead of the uniform blue, so here's how you can get your self one, if you haven't already done so.

• Go to your settings and enter the URL of the image you want into the 'COVER URL IMAGE' field and the update is almost instantaneous. Remember you have white text around your profile image, so choose something that compliments this.

DTube

This could be the beginning of the end for YouTube, which are currently purging the platform on the basis of censorship, so the cavalry has arrived in the form of DTube. Maybe the 'D' stands for 'Decentralisation', just thinking logically, but it is the catapult that Steemit needs to not only take it past Facebook, but also YouTube. There is no other real player in town that offers any kind of monetary reward apart from YouTube, until now. So, to register your account at DTube, just type in your username and your posting key. Note your posting key is located in your Wallet, then Permissions, and unhide it to copy and paste your posting key.
