Can someone tell me why my wallet value is declining?

I haven't been able to find the answer on the page for newbies. My value (after two years of not signing on) was $52. Today it is $42. I thought posting, commenting and upvoting were free.

Please help.

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Miscategorized content or spam
