Just A Newbie

Hello everyone. I'm just a newbie here literally just signed up today. I'm from the Philippines but currently residing in Kenya. I would really love to know more about how this platform works. The do's and dont's, how to earn something from here and know more or have better understanding about crypto currencies/tokens. I just hope there will be someone who could actually educate and guide me on how things work here in steemit. I would really appreciate your help.
